Obituary of Harvey Lester Wison

Harvey Wilson, passed away peacefully at the age of 95 at 5:12 in the morning of March 2, 2015 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. He was holding hands with one granddaughter and in the presence of other beloved family members. Born in Raglan, Ontario on August 14, 1919 he was the son of John and Mable Wilson, as well as a sibling to three brothers and six sisters. Harvey was a fierce euchre player, passionate farmer and retiree from General Motors. He loved dancing with his wife Joyce, which he will finally be able to do again after a 25 year wait. Joyce was Harvey's one and only. The love of his life, mother of their children and best-friend. He was faithful to her from the day he met her and missed her everyday they weren't together. Deeply missed, and cherished forever by his 4 children, 8 grandchildren and one great grandson Ayden. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Thursday March 5th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 6th in the funeral home Chapel at 11 am. Interment to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
